Precious Stones

Never could ' can't , never would
Put that much value into a stone~
They call them precious stones , gems and metals
With feeling they are as cold and dead as bone~
I'd rather give a lifetime of flowers
And my unconditional true love~
I'd rather always be there for a friend
As expected by God himself above~
I could never see the value in
A rock because its as old as time~
In no way I concider them to be
As valuable as the love I know thats mine~
In every way and every day
I spend loving her just that much more~
Not a single stone or rock or gem
Could replace the love that I adore~
