The abyss lies in wait its eternal hunger to sate. Just beyond a monster does lie and it longs to devour each passerby. The darkness it does approach and a sense of foreboding does encroach. There hidden, buried ever so deep crouches the creature which appears in sleep. Through darkness I may walk I cannot retreat or turn and balk. Fear is just weakness an infirmity I can at last overcome with you here by me.
