Song of Solomon
2:10-12a
My beloved spake, and said unto me,
Rise up, my love, my fair one,
and come away.
For, lo, the winter is past,
the rain is over and gone;
The flowers appear on the earth;
The time of the singing of birds is come,
Rise Up, My Love, and Come Away
Rise up, my love, and come away,
Wrap me once more in your warm embrace.
Cradle me till our heartbeats merge,
Let me see that look of love upon your face.
Rise up, my love, and come away,
Let me feel the strength only you possess,
Whisper words that capture my soul's being,
Grant my heart one more moment of happiness.
Rise up, my love and come away,
Let us leave winter's cold far behind,
Walk with me into the sunshine of your kiss,
In your arms I feel so sublime.
Rise up, my love, and come away,
My fair one, my love, my soul-mate,
I will meet you once more,
at Heaven's Golden Door,
please don't be too late.
