 ODE TO VIETNAM

ODE TO VIETNAM
Image hosted by servimg.com
Most of the war was just battles being fought.
Men walking into hails of bullits and needing life.
Mindless hatred of nemisis and even further understood
people just common people working for the common good?
not even that it was a farce a giant comedy the only good
was people dying and how can that ever be a good thing
unless the color was the intended victum why dont they
beat up people less now than even more
if a veteran walks down the highway in the south
just wearing green his stuff is beaten up his heart dont sing.
And no one goes to any picture shows to hear ROY ROGERS sing.
His own son was given to the WAR.
Let freedom ring but please dont let it ring on me.
Thank GOD that curcumstances and just dumb luck
prevented me from the ARMY life in Vietnam.
