Love Me As I AmGirdle your strength around you Let loose the ties that bind Your heart inside the lair Naive the fragile mind Love is not an enemy From which you need retreat Nary the cause of pain That broken hearts excrete Truth be told as well it should It is not love at all More so it's self-destruction To think from love we fall It is not love that fails us When couples go astray Unfounded expectations Upon their shoulders weigh Love is raw unbiased truth No veils in love you wear Time uncovers hidden lies When used a love to snare True love cannot be blinded To think we're who we're not Dare to play the liars game Prepare to hurt a lot Girdle your strength around you Let loose the ties that bind Stand naked ‘in front' of love The end you'll never find!
