where can i be?...dark poetry
I yelled and yelled
No one replied
To the door I held
With a knife I pried
Nauseous and shaken
Trembling with expectation
My eyes were taken
By facial crustaceans
I heard the hollowness
Of steel walls shrinking
The abject loneliness
My mind rapidly twisting
I felt the tipping of the room
No sight, my fingers try to see
The room rocks back and forth
Wondering where can I be
Feeling the impending doom
Sniffing, touching, tasting,
I go from room to room
Famished, times a wasting
I found half eaten chocolate brownie
With raisins on it, I took a bite
It was pungent, soft and squishy
My stomach put up a fight
I chewed and I spewed
Everything inside decided to fly
Blued, screwed, and tattooed
Now! I wanted to die
