WAVE A CARROT

Stubborn as a mule
Danny's fool
Waiting in line
For sometime
To cool
What burn's inside

Roller coaster ride
Where I'm excited
Screaming
Rarely invited
Left creaming
All over myself

Runs downs my thighs
Rapture always cries
Hold on, hold out
Be good, get clout

It's not your world
You're just hurled
Into it by your heart
Keep your small part

Sunshine girl, stay serene
Be kind, he's not mean
Keep singing his song
Then it won't be long

Until he finds a way
To love us both someday
A triad of love in poetry
That waves a carrot in front of me.
