A Sense Of HumorWithin our daily lives that be Pressures sometimes they are many~ Answers sometimes just don't cut it And often there aren't any~ I feel at times a sense of humor needed And sometimes it does save the day~ A sense of humor and a smile At times seems to have a way~ At times I feel compulsive happiness Should be a brand new law~ And the world not being so thin skinned Could help so much and more~ If one can laugh some things away I feel it would keep the world more sane~ With a sense of humor now and then Would go easier on a brain~ If at all I can take my feelings And use them best I can~ Along with a sense of humor Might just make me a better man~ Terrence Michael Sutton Copyright 2007 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
