Of Little Faith

You are of little faith if you fear,
Noises of the night that you hear;
With trembling at a strange sound,
When there is no one else around.

You are of little faith if you see,
Landing on your arm a bumble bee;
And you fear that it just might sting,
Causing you the pain it may bring.

You are of little faith if you smell,
Something burning where you dwell;
And fear of loosing all material things,
With all of the idolatry that it brings.

You are of little faith if you doubt,
Exactly what the Triune God is about;
Fearing on direction and not too sure,
If He is leading you to the right door.

Foxes live in holes birds fly in the air,
While the Son of man is everywhere;
Watching over us both night and day,
So put away the doubt and fear to obey.
