The Heart
The heart beats a rhythm
Which doesn't keep track of time
The heart is the core of existance
Holding love. . .So sublime
Love, an emotion, God given at best
To share with one another
A love that is strong, standing the test
Of father, sister, mother, and brother
As it beats and pulsates daily
With each new breath of air
Always connecting as it relates
Always certain. . . Always there
A special love, for friends, it holds. . .Too
For there is enough love to go around
The heart . . .It always remains true
Always faithful, always sound
Daily I try to express my love
To family, friends. . .To all
A love that comes from deep within
To do God's beckoning, and follow His law
