Friend
invisible earth,
predictable death,
no self-worth,
impossible breath.
analogous end,
saddened child,
absent friend,
no one smiled.
unforgiving,
painful loss,
inadequate death,
on a cross.
cloudless sky,
sunless too,
death of a world,
death of you.
endless hope,
hopeless end,
end of an enemy,
end of a friend.
