~A Garden Of Limerick #3~
(Limericks)

1

I know of an old haunted house
Abandoned, but, where lives this big mouse
That likes to silly scare people
Who shows at that steeple
Built by this man who's a drunk*n and louse!

2

Then they told her to stop lying
Or they would send her far away crying
Where no one would see her
Or would never ever hear her
Even if she was with them still trying!

3

Sometimes I think that my verses stinks
But that's after I've one or two drinks
For  the rest of the time
Meter and rimes don't look grime
At least, that's the way, my big head thinks!

4

When they told him of this sparks just flew
Then his fingers got stuck in her glue
Spillin' some of this old muck
He cussed his very bad luck
When all this glue fell on his new shoe!

author notes:

(My try at more silly limericks, this ones,as always, come from my own experimentation with this very humorous form:)
