Nobody's Perfect?
Perfection, so misunderstood
Perceived to be one of life's goals
Measured in all of mankind's roles
What thoughts have become never should
Everything is perfection
Life is not just a song and dance
For us to learn by circumstance
To face by chance some rejection
On what do we base our standard
To judge something perfect indeed
At what point no more to exceed
Could such a question be answered
To think we all are not perfect
In each our very own way
Serves only to prejudice sway
Of someone we cannot accept
Fools be us all for believing
That we are the judge of all life
History proves through war and strife
Perfection we're not achieving
Therefore I say we have it wrong
What thoughts have become never should
Perfection, so misunderstood
Has been truth and love all along!
