Straight To The Heart

Simply to Do Your Will

As I walked through the woods
as a child without fear
Peace was with me
I hold those memories dear

Wind in my face
as leaves blew all around
I could play and laugh
as I'd roll on the ground

The breeze that I felt
was so smooth on my skin
Created by God
I'm His child, we are kin

This world in it's self
is a sight to behold
All the beauty she displays
no need for pure gold

Home is where the heart is
so the old saying goes
My home is with Jesus
I'm going there I know

I thank you for this journey
up mountains and many a  hill
Through it all You've taught me
Simply to do Your will
