AGE IS NOTHING, BUT A NUMBERwritten at 20 years old No matter what your age You can always be friends at any stage You can use different colored pens on any piece of paper on any page Numbers are numbers no meaning is in the age Even if i am 20 and you're 6 You are my friend anything at all we can do, we can even play with sticks and stones You're my friend even if i am 20 and you're 52 You're my friend anything at all we can talk about i have a laugh and you do too Anything at all we can do and its great to have fun Friendship is the important thing why is Satan always in the way You let him put the words in your mouth that you don't even want to say Satan makes you think that's what you wanted to say Satan makes us blind Satan breaks the bind Friends are friends They're not little fashion trends Worn Then thrown Friends are precious emeralds of sacred trust Don't cut it off like a piece of crust You're so humiliated to hang with your mom due to what circumstances There ain't no law about being friends with someone more than twice your age So you have something in common why not keep this friend they might astound you or even be useful Maybe even more helpful Better than the rest They can be the best God puts us to the test He tests our gratefulness He tests our gratitude God keeps testing us until we know what a blessing friendship can be We will all get old and kids are so small so vulnerable and they like to play with us and Satan makes us so blind we can no longer see Anything at all Just the ability to keep hurting innocent people and throwing away blessings of God like a free Gift He had given thee So why should age matter its just a number that's all so every friend you have you should Thank God with all the gratitude inside thee People wait all their lives without even a friend in the world and there is you All you do is throw away and go on through Waiting to hurt yet another person God is watching God is the most merciful yet the most severe in punishment Don't burden your grave with sin Throw Satan in the bin Even more the minds he's poisoned coz now they're poisoning yours They won't hang with younger or older people so you won't If you wanna be a follower go ahead, but i am through watching you I will wait and see when you become a leader Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
