THE EIGHTH WONDER OF THE WORLD

THE EIGHTH WONDER OF THE WORLD

Such love when I was small,
Always there if I should fall,
Patience with me come rain or shine,
Making each day for me so fine.

With gentleness and understanding I was reared,
You making sure I was always steered
Far from the problems of this life,
Being a wonderful Mother and Wife.

To me you are everything by far,
Letting no one a joy of mine mar,
Through you I have learned the language of love,
It is you I thank not the stars above.

So this dear Mum to you I give,
Be it day or be it night,
A thought for you is always there,
The rest of your days I hope will be fair.
