 what about me?

I hear the weirdest noise
Screaming, moaning, rattling
Difficult to keep my poise
My mind frazzled and battling

As I freak, down the stairs I fall
Creatures moving to and fro
I see blood running down the wall
Its eyes red and begin to glow

The room was so cold
The rest of the house was warm
No flies buzzing, too cold
In the other rooms they swarm

On my face I felt its breath
A pungent odor I inhaled
Awaiting my impending death
Tried to get up, but only failed

I could hear no sound
And I couldn't see
But, I knew I was bound
Screaming inside of me

Just then the phone rang
No one answered
It just rang and rang
Expectation shattered

I fell when i returned home after  intestuinal surgery
i couldn't get up it took hours before the wife came home from work..
