Reluctance From Your End To Mine

Fastening the corners of our eyes
Down once again,
Nursing our senses asleep
With illogical lullabies.
Across the world there are children that will soon lose the ability to scream,
As there parents did.
Silenced by metaphor and implication where those of affliction are made to bow lower.
Bared equality carries contusions we claimed to be more.
Intelligent apes that laugh as our limbs are severed.
Who notice not the likeness in hopes of lesser men?
Seeming to us mere animals in a show of hollowed skin.
Let lay one more bruise on battered privilege and pretend once again that it is worth it,
That you and I were born to deserve it...
Reluctantly were anti-economical without distribution of sympathies of empires exquisite in Evey discordance.
We will say ( I LOVE YOU ) to cities of bleeding infants?
Poisoning ideals well worn into are parchments, gaining liberty owing to mustard gas and uranium?
heap the dead in unmarked graves...
Dirt is a death museum.
Isolation will not fix the current problems nor immersion will edge along salvation.
