Heart Of The Matter
Sing Softly To Me
Home ……
I woke in the darkness,
Pre-empting the dawn,
My world still asleep,
I am risen,
I'm gone,
I walk in the shadow,
Of vanishing moon,
Toes tip toeing snowdrops,
In silence they bloom,
So peaceful the hour,
Between darkness and light,
Sing out little blackbird,
How joyous your flight,
Take rest on the branch,
Of a mist shrouded tree,
Sing sweet, little blackbird,
Sing softly to me.
