Heart Of The Matter
No Need For The Moon
Reach out and save me,
So swiftly, I fall,
I float in your ocean,
I answer your call,
The line disentangled,
It's smooth and it's clear,
The feeling ecstatic,
Your face drawing near,
A touch from a finger,
A gasp and a sigh,
A kiss barely breathing,
Between you and I,
Eyes locked in safekeeping,
The vision remained,
Yet hidden from sight,
The love it contained,
And beating the hearts,
To a well fashioned tune,
Our eyes bathe in starlight,
No need for the moon.
