Lie to me it matters not
For I may never know
In your heart and soul you'll find
The truth will always show
It is you that lives your lies
And you will die with them
But if found out then others
Loose trust and that is grim
Lies will only let you down
No matter what you think
You can call a skunk a cat
Its odor still will stink
Even if it's never known
A lie is still a lie
And if told it makes it hard
To see things eye to eye
If you stretch the truth a bit
It gets bent out of shape
And the vale of doubt it casts
Upon your heart will drape
The truth may not be pleasant
So you think to lie instead
But in that case it's better
Nothing at all is said!
