A rose is but a rose
One of God's most precious creations
Without a word spoken
She expresses her truths, without hesitations
Why can't we as Humans Being learn from her wisdoms?
Why do some run from love, yet others hang on too long?
There are those who don't look for it at all
find it staring them right in the face, yet never notice it
Some want it so badly they make all the wrong choices
Others get right back up, after the fall
We can hold our feelings inside and never
let the one we love, know, of our affections
We can run from our emotions and hide,
never allow ourselves to feel the joys and pleasures
Then we wonder why love doesn't work
and never has the chance to grow
The simplest form of expression
Is to open up, and feel all of loves treasures
If you never speak your Soul's truth
Don't ask it in return
If the one you love doesn't know of your emotions
How can you cry when she reaches for another
Don't assume or take for granted
For if she never hears it, she will never return the devotions
Have the courage to say I Love You
Dare to risk the unknown
We can scream, kick and shout
Or we can live, learn and grow
If your heart tells you it's more
Then leave no doubt
Express what your soul aches to say
And scream your love out
