Sowing Abundant Seeds
Planting time is very near,
No shadow seen this year;
By the groundhog as said,
For an early spring instead.
God ensures plenty of seed,
Growing what we will need;
If a farmer only sows a few,
Then a small harvest is due.
But if a lot of seed was sown,
Then a rich harvest has grown;
The first fruit give to the Lord,
Since your reaping has soared.
How much to give you decide,
Your own conscience to abide,
For God likes a cheerful giver,
Willingly wanting to deliver.
The more generous as you sow,
The faster everything will grow;
And more bountiful of a reap,
That you will be able to keep.
