Change
Today we are told that we are good people
That we do the best we can
We want to build up our self-esteem
Don't want to be told that we sin
Jesus has said that sin has ruined us
We need to repent of our sins
Jesus has called us to change ourselves
It's about time that we begin
With Jesus everything is possible
So put your trust in Him
Ask Him to come and change your life
He'll do it from deep within
Come to Him everyday in prayer
Ask Him for forgiveness
He'll reach deep down inside your heart
You'll feel His righteousness
Today we are told that we are good people
Well that's a total lie
We'll never be good if we don't have Jesus
That's why He came to die
We cannot achieve this all on our own
It's not within our nature
But if we let Christ take control
Eternal life's our future
