This Feels True For Me
I write to be read
not heard,
I find the intimacy
of reading ones soul,
a private matter,
I feel the arena's
too big,
as the coffee house
singer,
no penetration, the person
in the back can't hear,
much too much is lost
when you're not one on one,
the commitment made when
we read, is one of the most
romantic feelings life has ever
offered
and although I believe
in the spoken word,
I believe more
in read words.
