 Chains Of Life
Many people I have seen with the after effects of drugs or alcohol, Looking them in their misty eyes, when they cannot speak, I often wonder if this may be something they would be saying, if they could, if they could utter another word, and yet they just lay there, in their own, homemade prison and forever in the Chains of Life. Sitting in the corner Of a darkened room, Watching the shadows Of the past dancing In the gloom. I want to speak but No one will listen, I want to shine But there is no More to glisten. The need is here But the desire Is bounded, By ropes of the Past , the sirens Have sounded. Release me from This nightmarish Life, Bound me never Again in strife. My eyes have seen My heart did explore, As I lay here on This hardwood Floor. Release me now I pray, From this darkened Life this day. hard drive data recovery
