That Boiling desert and those thirsty kids

When i walk in those hot deserts of my country
I felt so thirsty and so hungry
Yet i felt even worse looking at those faces of those with nothing
Drinking impure water with their hands
It took them so long to do
I took them by hand
They got scared i told them to come with me
They asked me why
I said i will not hurt you
They walked with me shaking
I felt bad, but this had to be done
I took them to a cool new place
They ate until they said they'd had enough
They drunk all they wanted to drink
Then this child asked me why
Why did i do all this
This is for God
It will please God
It will help you and me and everybody
The kids cried
I cried with them
I wanted to take them Home
We became friends
Then i had to say the awful word
Goodbye
Goodbye we all say
I knew
This say shall come
Except i hope i'll see them again someday
I been waiting for the day of my life...
I hope they remember me
May God bless them
These poor people
A small thing can be a big thing with God
Doing the smallest of things
Can be so nice for people
Making this the happiest day of their lives
It will wipe a page of sins clean or even more
God knows...
