Forgetting the Past
Forget what happened long ago,
God forgives as blessings flow;
Creating something that is new,
Giving a different point of view.
So stop thinking about the past,
For tough times will never last;
But if dwelling within your life,
You will never rid of the strife.
Life goes through the wilderness,
That causes despair and bitterness;
But if you learn just how to cope,
In the end there is always hope.
When you become weary and weak,
You always have the Lord to seek;
For helping you in finding the way,
When you detour and start to stray.
But never fear having any doubt,
That our Lord is not watching out;
As long as your heart has sincerity,
With keeping Him your priority.
