When it comes to worship of Jesus or Mary,
It is an issue that some people are contrary It was Jesus that the shepherds came to adore He was the promised Messiah forevermore God chose Mary to be the earthly mother But she is not more holy than any other She was an ordinary young girl God used Yet there are those today who are confused They put Mary on a much higher plane But Jesus was the perfect Lamb slain They say Hail Mary thou favored one It is in Jesus our victory has been won We should respect Mary for her godly role She gave freely of herself and all of her soul Raising God's Son was a big responsibility But she trusted in God to give her the ability Jesus took on human form to show us the way As He grew, God was preparing Him every day Jesus stayed in the temple doing God's will But yet His parents did not understand it still Jesus is the One who deserves our praise Forever let us worship Him all our days By His death, our sins are white as snow By His life, His love we come to know Luke 2:52 (NIV) And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
