Our life goes through seasons
We may not know the reasons
But we need to trust God's plan
For He knows the ways of man
In spring, the grass begins to grow
It is a pleasant sight after the snow
Meeting Jesus brings new life and joy
We shout it out to every girl and boy
In summer, people go on vacation
They relax and enjoy God's creation
Our spiritual life may become laid back
We lack focus and then we get off track
In fall, the leaves begin to come off the trees
The nights become crisp with a gentle breeze
In the Christian life, we are either up or down
Trials may come so we can turn our life around
In winter, certain climates have lots of snow
Storms will come and cars don't want to go
Blizzards come in our life and we ask why
We may even break down in tears and cry
Whatever season of life you are in right now
Trust God to help you through it somehow
Never doubt that God has abandoned you
He loves you and cares about every detail too
Hard times will come either as a punishment of sin
Or for God to make your faith stronger from within
God may seem distant, even if you did nothing wrong
Just as with Job, God may allow it to make you strong
