One can imagine twenty artists
All painting the same thing~
And as they do their best to image
They sit around it in a ring~
Imagine endless people that
Describe something they've seen~
And usually it's always a little different
Interpreted in their own way supreme~
We only have one creator
One God that will always be~
And regardless of how we see him
He is still always there for you and me~
Endless earth bound opinions
Have been since the birth of our time~
They have forms endless religions
And to their beliefs they've walked the line~
But as he said we can't look
At him in the face and live~
He asks us just to have faith it's so
And except all with thanks to us he gives~
No matter who says they know the truth
And how it all should be ~
He only wants our devotional thanks
To all walk as one united and to feel free~
The basics are all the same
We all know right from wrong~
How to live and let live and love and care
It's all the very lyrics to his one song~
There's no way we can argue
Or rewrite or correct his way~
And only do as we must do
As our hearts tell us to upon the day~
We are all different links in the same long chain
The big picture is that we all love and care~
And know that God is with us in every way
And that he's always there~
