WORLD RIDE


He tries to be good with his love time
Then it's shoved into the background
Until I'm writin' the rhymes
Of how it's turned around

Back to all his space
Where another woman lives
She's there to replace
All the love he gives

She was once my competition
But I'm not the competing kind
Being left here in poetry to mention
How their home is in my mind

He's never gonna give her leave
And lately I don't care
As I can't sit here and grieve
About the man that isn't there

Tarot card reading says dance the dance
Work hard and go on with your stay
You've the skills in this game of chance
Hop on the world and twirl away...
