Sooner Or Later And Maybe A lot Longer Than Fifteen Minutes
I know
you think
it's enough
but it's not
for me,
I can't
let days
run together
without meaning,
work all the time
and plan a vacation,
it's understood
what you're doing,
yet the artists side
isn't,
you praise Van Gogh
now, master, priceless,
prints, merchandise,
auctions, you raise
your number as if you know
something,
where were you
when he needed you,
you can by priceless
art now cheap, you can
discover great musicians
at your local bars, you
have to open all your doors
to take in art,
the simple truth is
it's over your head
and that's the best
place to start rather
than judge,
art pushes
all the buttons
and dives in with
soul, imagination,
more guts than it will
ever take to put on
a tie,
don't put down
any, art, take that
to heart, no matter
your expertise,
when you take on
an artist, more
than likely
you will be wrong,
for true art is individual
and uniqueness will always
have an audience,
even if it isn't you,
