~Robbed No More©

We've been robbed blind,
by hate way too long.
Honor among thieves,
it can no longer go on.
Take back what's our's,
for the greater good.
Love one another or,
there goes the neighborhood.
It's a beautiful lie
we all live and breathe,
to think that peace can live
where hate won't leave.
It's not too late
for us to find,
that hate has no power without
a mask to hide behind.
If we rip off the mask
with all our might,
we just may gain freedom,
by the dawn's early light!
