 St. Patty's Joy

Before I leave here I'll be full of green beer
And will have pinched all the ladies without green
Hopefully their husbands won't make a scene
I'll dance all the night with drunken delight
I'll sing Irish songs till I fall on the floor
Then I'll get up and drink me some more
On St Patrick's day so many do play
I'm not Irish but, I like the festivities
And the blast of alcohol derivatives
Beer after beer I'll drink them with cheer
For in the morn my head will have poundings
But until then I'll enjoy my surroundings
This is the night most Irish don't fight
And they tip up their mugs as a pleasurably feast
With brotherly love and visions of peace
