Last forever within our minds~
Help us cope with life you'll find
Places thus to visit of the nicest kind~
I often go back to a place
That I have kept within my heart and mind~
Because the last time that I was there
Such tranquility and peace there did I find~
Stillness in a world of rush
Silence in a world of noise and row~
Beauty in a world that is not always
I can see it within my minds eye now~
Palest ever blue skies rear of
An ocean subject so to breeze~
Shadowed by romantic ever so
Slightly but magesticly distorted trees~
Growing within darker but heavy sand
Grasses that dispite the weather grew~
Such a tranquil sublime and beautiful sea scape
Closer oldest ever fence posts dominate the view~
Feeling so with peace of mind
I sat in purest breezes of ocean air~
As they sofly washed across my face
With natures music all around beyond compare~
In this ever natural undisturbed peaceful place
A small slightly rocky path finds it's way down~
Old shrubs hang over same
With old mans beard hanging as if in gown~
I sat and meditated my own way
With my past present and future to come~
What ever it may hold for me
Looking back upon a life thus far lived and won~
But ever so reminded that
How lucky in life I am this day~
To be alone with natures gifts
So beautifully tranquil and on display~
Days and nights and years of time
May come and go it's true~
And when I feel I need time out
Beautiful place I can visit you~
This place remained within my mind
I can close my eyes and I am there~
I can hear natures music again
And feel the ocean breezes in my hair~
And if by chance there comes a time of woe
And here I cannot visit then that day~
I close my eyes and feel that breeze
And smell the ocean just down by the way~
I listen to the waves carress the beach
Upon that beautiful tranquil shore~
And very soon I feel more at peace
Just as if I sat there right then once more~
