Reality
Reality is fiction,
Yet fiction is real,
So real you can see it,
You can touch it, you can feel.
You spend your whole life working,
So that you can pay the bills,
Then you find out, it was all a hoax,
The sad thought really kills.
Your closest friends, your enemies,
They were not real at all,
They haunt you now, it's sad to see,
You break and start to bawl.
Reality is fiction,
Yet fiction is real,
So real you can see it,
You can touch it, you can feel.
Don't take for granted, anything,
You never know what's true.
You question them, even question me,
You start to question you.
You have to wonder, what is true,
Gotta' ask what draws the line,
What's real, what's not, what's unexplained,
Reality can't be defined.
Reality is fiction,
Yet fiction is real,
So real you can see it,
You can touch it, you can feel.
(*Inspired by the movie, "A Beautiful Mind.")
