There will be no more dark days
like a day of false sight to help them see
the light will come from our beloved Jesus
His beauty will be all they need.
Blindness will never again be before them
they will watch in wonder the things they've not seen
like mountains and valleys overcomed to take their breath
they will look on each day with more beauty than before seemed.
But one glorious day gold will glimmer as diamonds
They will find no more sickness or tears of death
Running and jumping in that great city
they shall never again be confined.
Only an eternity of God's beautiful grace
will awaken them to find His sight
it will make up for those years
they went in the cold dead of night.
