BLEACHED

Ever so white the bones of death
Hollow and sad without the marrow of life
Clank, clank all night long
Death whispers over, telling a story
Not a story of love, but of lost love
Flashes of light shoot down into mud so black
Words of man cannot truly tell this story
For only God and the Devil know the truth
Neither ever saying, just watching and one laughing
Death is no release from the pain that has been done
I float though, in and out of troubled thoughts
I scream for peace, no echo comes back

Why me...
