Moments of closeness I truly miss To have, to hold In forever bliss Some forgotten Some new Some cherished And some blue Silhouetted desires Passions of loving lust Acts of unbridled love Pure and real, a must Finger fed fruits Campfires roasts Scrumptious wines to share Telling stories of life's daily posts Impish games, cracking jokes A glancing touch, doorway eyes and pouty lips Laughter with tears of joy Little kisses upon her finger tips Walking up behind Enwrapped arms around her waist Fluttering hearts, fingers entwined Knowing you've truly been blessed and graced Resting her head upon your shoulder Fingers thru hair, chills along the neck Tender kisses about her face Promises made to always protect Open a door, pull out her seat A rose for no reason at all Small peck on the back of her hand Tender squeeze as you saunter by Blowing kisses across the room From where you patiently stand Shooting star gazing nights Sandy shores and Moonlit walks Hand in hand, side by side Unplanned, all day soulful talks Washing hair, softly cleansing her back Caressing shoulders to relieve the pain Slow dancing, heart to heart In the pouring down rain Nestled together, upon a bed of silky satin and lace Breathing in the scent of her beauty Lost in time and infinite space Those little things that mean so much Precious moments a heart to touch Giving unto each other Unconditionally two souls melt A closeness compared to no other Love is the greatest gift felt Cross your heart In praise the Lord A beautiful soul Not all can afford Yet doesn't cost a penny from heaven When foolish pride and ego depart Merely allow your soul's expressions To erupt from deep within the heart 03-21-07 jt
