Winter Morning
Cold,
Shivering,
Winter air biting,
Streetlights still orange.
The drenched road
Shimmers.
Icy rain still falling,
From a darkened sky,
Splashing,
Relentless.
A silhouetted figure,
Umbrella aloft,
Stands
Cold and shivering,
Waiting for a bus
