From the Heart Through the Pen

yosph
Short Bio Of My Heart

Looking on my past
All those relationships
That didn't last
Falling in and out of love
Being lost and found in love
My heart being through so many
Different homes and houses
My judgment at times clouded

All this while I'm getting older
You'd think by now
My mate
I would have found her
All this time she's managed
To somehow escape me
And now my heart roams free
Where could she possibly be

I thought, I mean seriously believed
That I met her
The situation complicated
It was myself that I deceived
My love for this one so pure
Never have I ever been so sure
But alas I must apologize
To me and to her
Still no regrets
And of that I'm truly sure

Right now my heart
My mind body and soul
So confused
Reaching out for a hand
Someone to get me back
On my feet
Letting me know
That really wasn't my Final Defeat
But of this above scenario
I mustn't repeat
Sad to say
After all, I'm still incomplete

So what's next on my agenda
I'll have to close my eyes
And let the Lord be my guide
Doing my best not to look back
Maybe I was wrong
There are no see you laters
Just goodbyes
