From the Heart Through the Pen

yosph
All Her Love

I'm sitting under a tree
With its shade casting down upon me
The gentle spring breeze
Brings her scent to me
Causing my love to fall free
I sit and remember
Through all my storms I have stood tall
The weight of the world on my shoulders
And I could bear it all
Then she came around
And brought all her love
The only one besides God
To bring me to my knees

And it was all her love
That overwhelmed me
Took this man
He swallowed his pride
Exposed his fears and his faults
She saw his tears run down his cheek
Made him shy, timid, meek
Gave him something
Which could never be bought

In no time at all
She had him falling
Over and over again
Soon he got that strong feeling
That strong urge
That her forever in his life
He would be needing
Invincible to the world
Was their relationship
But then they parted ways
Without either of them
Taking a trip

And it was all her love
That he tried forgetting
The heartache and pain
Just wasn't letting up
So many days and nights feeling blue
Not sure what to do

It became something
His heart could not let go
Something in his life
That made him know
Given from someone so beautiful
Which could only be from
The one who was that special
Something that he did not have to guess
What gave him such warmth
The source of his peace and happiness
Something that when push came to shove
It just would not let go of him
Something he will have forever
That he would return of his own
And it was All Her Love
