 Hard Week, good conversation
Hold me beloved
It has been a hard week.
I know this is our time Of year…
our 40 days
Our time of change
And challenge.

I have no mortal lovers
To embrace me
As I once did
but you have been kind.

The wind played with My head today
And I felt your Thousand touches.
The sun warmed my heart,
With your God kisses
And the ground warmed
And cradled my body like a lover.
What mortal can compare?

Our conversations have been
Deep and meaningful
Despite the hardships.
The loss of my apartment
The loss of my computer
The loss of my job.

Its as if those things weren't
As intriguing
Or interesting
As the subconscious
Or remembering
My inner resilience.

And even with such dark things
And times
You made me smile
My lover child
You rewarded me
With love
And hope
And silver linings

But the greatest gift
Out of all the sadness
Was my newfound bliss
Poetry coming straight
From my lips.
