It is so late; this day can no longer hold light
Yet so early; tomorrow is soon to shine bright
It is the hour many dreams are to be born
But sleep has eluded the bedclothes I have worn
A thought preoccupies my mind this very night
If we have love wrong will it ever be right
How can we love some people but not love all
Love has no season like winter, spring, or fall
Especially summer when heat wages war
Love has no reason to settle a score
Love is not complete if it's for only one
You can either love all or else you love none
So don't say I love you to someone you want
If there's one person that to say it you don't
Love can't be divided for those you might choose
Love is not a game to be played win or loose
Love takes no sides but instead rises above
All human beings are capable of love
Oh my dear friends we are so easily swayed
But love never changes and must be obeyed
Always treat others the way you want treated
Break that rule only once and love is defeated
It is so late; this day can no longer hold light
Yet so early; tomorrow is soon to shine bright
Each day that we fail to love everyone
Is erased by darkness, a new day to come!
