Line Into Heaven
Line Into Heaven
I will wait for you,
wave my hand
smile across this face
so glad you came
and I won't live untill
your hand is in mine
I don't care
all life is
is time
and when you look at me
no appearances have changed
we will walk in together
to say our name
God understands
that I have to wait
I will be the one
standing besides
Heaven's gates
one day soon
it will all be over
I can't wait until
I am standing beside
my mother
and I will tell her
I have to wait for the others
so we'll both stand there and say....
