Decorating The Tree

Trimmings and ornaments
Lay on the glass table,
Kids are ready to decorate
They're willing and able.

The tree is all set up
Skirting is put underneath,
Helping my little guy with the star
It was, quite the feat.

Bulbs and plastic icicles
Wooden harps, sitars and bears,
Porcelain Angels are included
Ornaments made by the children, are there.

Beads and candy canes
Are put around the tree,
I take pictures, my heart melts
Seeing the children, smiling happily.
