DISILLUSIONED POEM

I'm tired
Drinking coffee soon to get wired
All the muscles hurt in me
So I took one quarter of a Tylenol three

My feet hurt so very bad
It's sunny outside and I feel sad
Don't have the energy I use to
My sleepiness just makes me blue

I use to be a hyper girl
Sleep four hours in my whirl
Of busy activity
But I can't seem to set this depression free

Have been cutting down on the dose of my pill
Either way I still feel ill
Dizzy, sleepy, tired
Harried, manic, wired

I still think of suicide
It's a fact in poetry I don't hide
Life it seems too much a struggle
Just let me in God's arms to snuggle

But would God forgive me
For wanting many burdens set free
Who would care if I went away
God forgive me for my pain and doubt today.
