Only time and reflection mends
the aching heart, that
we will feel
When we open our self up
to love, the building
process will take our all
What we learn
in this process of time,
may be painful and we may fall
We must grieve the loss,
get up and move
on, once again
I missed your love
and your presence in my life,
this I want to win
It is most difficult
as we work at
and build relationship
We must be kind,
walking in the others shoes,
so we do not slip
Many relationships fade
away and die in the
very early stage
Many of us do not know how
to stop this from happening,
even at a mature age
But, as we pick up the pieces
in our pain, of our bruised ego
and once again, try
We may be pleasantly surprised,
the growth that takes place,
when we stop to reflect and cry
Do not give up so easily,
walking away, when
your love is put to the test
You may be missing a blessing
with that person, that one,
who for you, is God's best

Often times, when we are in a new relationship;
we find this person we have met, may be the one we
want to spend the rest of our life with.
As we let down any walls we may have built
around us for self-protection we feel so exposed
and vulnerable.
I am finding this is life, this is reality.
I am having so much fun, even in the painful times,
when I get to see myself and some of the junk I still carry.
At those times I go to the Lord and ask Him to uncover
all, in order that I may grow as He has intended for me.
Little by little, I let go of all that past hurt
that I am finding, still tries to rule my today.
When I see it, I give it to the Lord and trust
it will not hurt me in my present.
