 I Died A Thousand Times...

I died a thousand times tonight
Sliding away into that dream, I
Was desperate to hold you in my arms
  Uttering only a silent scream...

The darkness enfolded me like a cloak
Throttling as if a man with a noose around his neck
Twisting my hands like wire, they set on fire
I began sweating and breathing heavy with anticipation...

This laughter echoed in my ears - it vibrated with such aversion
The anger I felt was slowly climbing, rising to the surface,
Breathing became heavy, with looks so Demonic
I moved, sat alone in the darkness and pondered on my thoughts...

The super trooper danced around on stage, I stared in silent torment
Everyone laughed at the funny jokes, they sent me into another world
I died a thousand times tonight
You gave me back something when you held my hand at the end...
